From the sets of traditional television to the frontlines of digital content and events, Blue Coast Productions is a story 25 years in the making, built on decades of real production experience across a wide variety of entertainment properties.
We began our careers deep in traditional broadcast and film production, working for years on some of the biggest shows for networks and studios. This is where we learned the discipline, craft, and scale that still underpins everything we do.
Unscripted television, especially competition reality shows, are equal parts entertainment and experiential, and it was in these years that we cut our teeth creating Emmy-winning story around large-scale sets, challenges, events, and audience-focused builds.
We joined Machinima (and Warner Bros.) at a turning point in digital entertainment and quickly helped build one of the world's largest gaming and entertainment studios from the ground up. We set viewership records with shows for The CW, TBS, and SiriusXM, and produced some of the most talked-about events and experiences at E3, San Diego Comic-Con, PAX, and beyond.
Our roots in traditional entertainment set a new standard for digital content and experiential production in the space, and laid the groundwork for what Blue Coast Productions would eventually become.
In 2019, when Warner Bros. was consolidating its digital properties (including Machinima), we worked to acquire the old Machinima studio and start Blue Coast Productions. By 2020, we had set the stage for who we would become.
Our earliest projects were content and events for Capcom, 2K Games, SpringHill, Wal-Mart, ESPN, ABC, Warner Home Video, A24, AppleTV+, El Rey Network, and more.
Today we are the trusted production partner for some of the world’s most iconic gaming and entertainment brands. We continue to work with Capcom and 2K Games, and have expanded to work with Variety, Scopely, Riot Games, Warner Bros., DC Comics, Amazon Studios, WWE, NBA, PGA, Gearbox Software, Firaxis Games, and many others.
